"The hotel is grand old building, set in established gardens with pleasant views across the Somerset levels. The staff are very pleasant, accomodating and friendly. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Thrre is pleanty of free car parking. The hotel is a large historic building and has a rambling assortment of extentions . "Rooms were not cleaned to a very good standard, lots of bits on the floors, behind sofa and beds. Very dusy in bathroom on window cill. Mirrors were very streaky. Room smelt very musty on arrival even though the windows were left open before we arrived."

"Our stay was for only one night and overall was a very pleasant stay. We opted for the Cereal breakfast which in our mind equated to a continental style breakfast. Unfortunately there were no croissants or ham and cheese, just a bit of toast and some jam / honey plus cereal mainly from packets. Very disappointing especially since I had noticed the bakery van arrive earlier that morning. Overall a lovely hotel has let itself down with an uninspiring attempt at breakfast."
