"Everything was great except for our bathroom. The shower drainage blocked up every single day. I specifically requested a room that didn’t have this problem as family experienced it on their last stay but got the same. Everyday we waited till the drainage worked which is 30mins after running the water every single time we needed to shower. Maintenance also came in and claimed to fix it fixed. It didn’t fix the problem. We have over 30 people stay in our group booking and look to stay here again...

"Le Vasa is a phenomenally beautiful property. The pictures on expedia do not do this property justice. We stayed in room 1 which was fantastic! Staff was amazing. Food was good, Drinks were only OK. Didn't seem like there was any alcohol in the drinks we bought. They ran about $30Tala which is on the higher end for Samoa but unfortunately they were watered down. If my wife can drink 2 and not feel anything there's something not right! LOL"

"There was a distinct smell of cat urine, they have a non refundable policy and my room was close to the kitchen so lots of staff noise and plumbing noise. My meal was very substandard and most food looked very starchy."

"The breafast and dinners were fantastic, a mix of local and European tastes. Having them plus delicious koko Samoa included in the tariff was a great deal. The bathrooms are like a camping ground with cold showers are adequate. There are no sun loungers and the beach tends to be wet so not great for sunbathing. However the location of the dining and lounge area plus fales right over stunning Lalomanu Beach is amazing."

"Extremely welcoming team at Lava Hotel, they really take care of everyone. Even when they were extremely busy they managed everything with a smile, the food and drinks were delicious and the room and pool area are all lovely. Highly recommend for any business or leisure stay."

"Lovely team of staff at the outrigger! The breakfasts were delicious every morning and I felt very welcomed! The team genuinely care about your welfare and enjoyment on the island! They were super helpful booking taxis, restaurants, activities and advising on stores/sight seeing etc. Couldn’t recommend more highly."

"Gorgeous spot. Beach Fales are traditional, which is their main feature, and should be preserved as such, since other fales tend to be "modernised" which loses the point."

"We loved our time at Stevensons. Yes, its a bit run down but the rooms are spacious and right on the beach - complete with turtles swimming out front of the resort. There are other places to eat down the road so you dont feel stuck there. I truely hope it can regain its former glory but either way we will be back, especially as it was more reasonably priced than other 'resorts' nearby."

"The room was clean, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. While the hotel does not offer as many amenities as some of the higher-priced hotels, it is a decent and comfortable option for the price. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and appreciated how helpful and attentive the staff were."
