Not super fancy but rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The room/bathroom was a decent size and seemed newer. Breakfast was great. Enough options to make most ppl happy. Eggs, hash browns, bacon or sausage, breads, muffins, waffles, yogurts, cereals, juices. The location didn’t matter to us because we had a car. It is located just off a main road and there are restaurants within walking distance.
One suggestion that would make such a big difference in first impression…the carpets in the hallways need a really good cleaning. They were pretty dirty and the first thing someone sees before they get to their room. (The rooms do not have carpets-I liked this).
Everywhere in parksville area is expensive to stay so if you can look past the dirty hallway carpets it is good value with breakfast included."
