"We chose this hotel due to its proximity to multiple gold panning reserves, and were glad we did. I found the Skimmerhorn to be your classic roadside Inn. We were surprised at the available amenities, like a bbq pit, horse shoe pit as well as a playground; we didn't utilize them but were glad to have the option. Check in was quick and friendly. The room (1 bedroom, 2nd level) was clean and stocked with what one person might need for a night or two. While not as comfy as our own, the bed was...
