"The view from the busy street is not what awaits you behind the tall shrubbery and through a banana tree tunnel: a clean, gorgeous pool with a refreshment hut; a marble-clad modern hotel that is literally ”squeaky” clean; a large breakfast hall with an extensive breakfast each day, an impeccably maintained rear garden; and a balcony off almost every tidy and spotless room.
If the facilities were not enough, it’s a short walk to the public beach, so no parking and meter worries. Finally, the family operators do everything they can to accommodate. (I had a taste for a Negroni at 9pm and the front desk clerk dropped everything and opened the bar), I extended my visit by three nights because it was too good to leave! Bravo!"
