"I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return."

"It is a beautiful old French house with many traditional features we enjoyed a lovely stay there. Sondrine the proprietor was extremely helpful in every aspect from helping us with our poor French language skills to everything you can mention cannot rate it highly enough."

"Fantastisk vert og opplevelse. Vi punkterte med bilen litt før ankomst. Verten var behjelpelig med å kontakte all mulige dekk leverandører, kjørte meg frem og tilbake til bilen, ordnet med veihjelp og alt. Vi fikk forlenget utsjekk til bilen var i orden igjen, og hun fikk flyttet de neste gjestene noe for å få dette til. Alt i alt en kjempe fin opplevelse, og et nydelig koselig hjem vi fikk låne 😀👍 Kommer garantert igjen om vi skal til samme området igjen."

"Mon compagnon et moi-même sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans la bulle. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Le menu du soir ainsi que le petit déjeuner (qui est inclu) étaient excellent et bien copieux. Nous avons pu profiter d’une nuit étoilée magique depuis le lit dans la bulle! La bulle est située au milieu d’une petite forêt réservée qu’à nous. Le lieu est très calme, paisible et situé dans une zone historique comportant de nombreux châteaux, qui bordent la route Richard Coeur de Lion. "

"L’espace piscine n’est accessible que sur rdv avec des créneaux limités au tarif de 15€/personne pour 1heure! Sinon l’hôtel est très agréable."

"The hotel was situated just right for our few days. The room was small but adequate the shower was fine. The breakfast was lovely but the evening meals weren’t. We didn’t find out until later in our stay but you had to tell reception if you wanted your room cleaning not leave the room to clean hanging on your door. One of the receptionists was very unhelpful."

"The hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was lovely and cost was reasonable. Be aware that parking is tricky! There is a private parade near the hotel that is very “tight” and you will have to haul luggage up a set of stairs from there to access the hotel."
