"Had a nice stay. As anticipated, there are alot of steps to arrive at the hotel, depending on the building. Recommendation is to travel light! No amenities other than restaurant. Again, expected. The room and bathroom were very well-maintained."

"Very disappointing experience. We could not enter the hotel access zone at Mont Saint-Michel because the required code was never sent. After three calls, someone finally answered. At reception, staff said it was our responsibility to call and get the code, even though we had no signal and had to borrow a phone. Poor communication and no willingness to help. Also, there is no elevator, and we had to carry luggage upstairs. This was not mentioned when booking."

"There was an obvious plumbing issue which created an obnoxious odor in our room. Breakfast offerings were good buck no working microwave. Could not eat the quiche cold! Staff was outstanding though. "

"We had a beautiful room with the tower just off our balcony. The room and bathroom were bigger than we had expected. It was close enough to walk our luggage to the train station and also walk into the centre of town. A very nice stay."

The in-room shower was powerful with plenty of hot water, although the shower head was fixed at waist height, meaning you had to hold it while showering. Communal areas felt a little shabby in places, though they were generally clean. It was disappointing that bottled water was charged to the room, which didn’t feel justified given the overall price; however, staff were attentive and removed this charge at checkout when raised. "Super small toilet where you can hardly sit. The host is not very nice and comes over as if he has an attitude problem. Breakfast is served only from 9 am until 9.45 am. That's a bad joke. "
