"The hotel was very well appointed, lovely smart rooms with a great view of the canal. Staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed three nights whilst working in the city and for that purpose it was amazing value. Cycle links to the centre are very easy and it took me 10 minutes to pedal to the city centre. Highly recoomend for work or holiday."

"My room was on the top floor and I had a number of heavy suitcases, so carrying them up was quite exhausting after a long flight and ride from Schiphol. In late August, the room was very warm as it had a glass door on one side and three large windows/doors on the other. So sun most of the day. "We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "Very nice apartment (you get what you pay for). A dishwasher is supplied (we didn’t used it) and washers/dryer are available in common area in the garden (excellent!) We didn’t received access information however as promised, so we arrived at location with no way to enter. As good as the place is, if you cannot get in, it’s a dud!
