"When I looked at the review I saw it was a 10! I thought oh, no place is a 10, well this place is. Super clean well designed and provisioned. This is an older motel that has been upgraded. Great comfortable bed, nice kitchen with all the things u would need to cook a meal or two. Efficient bathroom that is super clean and has everything u need. Such a nice surprise! The check in is done on your phone and it went to junk mail folder. We got it straightened out pretty quickly. Just be aware more...

"The owner was very nice and helpful in suggesting where to eat in the area. Thanks to him I had a delicious dinner and a nice walk at a beach in Manistee. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, big and cozy. The area is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. After all, you’re inside a national forest. "

"The property was spotless and very comfortable. We spent quality time outside on the back patio! The ONLY complaint is there were 4 coffee mugs and 6 of us :/ It was a comfortable walk to the beach, even for my 80 yr old sister. There are 2 bathrooms! I did not know there was a half bath, so was pleasantly surprised! Really came in handy with 6 people."
