"Pleasant stay. we spent the day at the Volcano Natl Park which is only 7 minutes away. had dinner in town, checked in about 5pm. when you drive onto the property you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forrest. really appreciated the tasty banana bread, snacks, and fruit that was left out. our room had a hot tub, which we didnt use. the matress was comfy. very quiet surrondings."

"The location with the views of the ocean are amazing along with the pool and hot tub. You have a 1 hour window to check in and if you miss it you have to be there at 8am the next morning. If you want an early start you need to wait until 8."

"We adored the little rainbow falls rainforest cabin. We have been travelling for about two weeks and it was time for a short retreat before continuing our adventure in the Hawaiian islands. Luckily for us, the volcano erupted, and we got to sit on the front porch listening to the rumble in the distance after having seen the start of the eruption that morning at the rim restaurant before they evacuated everyone."

"Parking was easy, but my room was a bit dirty upon arrival with spider webs and literal dust on things. There was a dehumidifier but it was empty and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. They were supposed to come pick up my registration so I thought they'd fix the humidifier then (80% humidity in the room) but no one ever came. The free amenities they have in the guest supply is just one very bad shampoo and a little bar soap (which was okay). The kitchen is very minimal and has nothing to...

"We needed a place near volcano park and this property filled the bill. I really should have read the information provided by the host to understand the self-check in process. (Multiple messages from all our stays overwhelmed me) Once we squared that away, we found dinner and brought it back to the room and settled in. The night sounds in the forest were great. My only suggestion is the steps be lit up for arrivals after dark."

"This lovely secluded rain forest cabin is wonderfully private, very close to the park, and the owners are extremely responsive (by text). They provide coffee and bottled water (although the filtered rain water is fine too). Note that it’s a pretty big place so takes a bit to warm up on cold wet days, but worth it!"
