"On arrival it took almost an hour to check in, when I asked why it was taking so long I was informed that the room I booked was not available. i was finally given a room but although I was told it was like for like, it was not in the main hotel and was quite far from the restaurants and entertainment area. I will make sure my booking is confirmed in the main hotel building next time."

"We had a great time at the Shambala Lodge. Pierre was an amazing host and he has a charming estate not far from the ocean with beautiful hikes and surfing to do within walking distance. The restaurants in St-Francois are 12-15 minutes away which is a little annoying especially at night on the smaller roads but that's the charm of being in a more quiet spot on the island. The rooms are very clean and the outdoor kitchen fun as well."
