"It was wonderful and we had a fantastic stay. The property was beautiful spotless and I would recommend a stay to anyone wanting beautiful accommodation and scenery to go with it. The staff were fantastic. "

"It was quite by accident, that I came across and stayed at this wonderful o guesthouse escape!
Traveling through southern Africa for almost 3 months, this accommodation was the biggest positive surprise of them all.
The most incredible home-cooked, fame fresh; deliciously tasty and varied breakfast, was topped only by the hosts themselves. Who, by the way, thought of everything a guest requires from luxury toiletries… right down to sufficient and relevant adaptors and the best wifi!!

"The unit was very nice and clean . Staff were very friendly and helpful . Unit did not have a shower but only bath tubs which was a slight negative .The unit needs some maintenance and general TLC "

"We stayed here for only one night on Monday, 13 October 2025, on our way to Cape Town. It’s such a pity we couldn’t stay longer because this is a truly wonderful guesthouse. We had a lovely room with a beautiful river view.
Mina at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took such good care of us and accommodated our request to change to a river-view room without any trouble.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse has a gorgeous garden. Breakfast was excellent...

"Qwantani is a beautiful oasis in the mountains with a variety of activities to help you explore and connect with the land. The accommodations are simple but comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A lovely pool to cool off in. The location is stunning, with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and dam. The only catch is you have to drive about 30-40 minutes on a dirt road with potholes to get there! But completely worth the drive!!"

"The hotel room was excellent. Situated right in the middle of Clarens you can walk everywhere from the hotel. Rooms overlooking the village green can be a little noisey but not overly so and rooms overlooking the mountains are quieter. Room very nicely decorated and contained four poster bed and fireplace, high end spec air conditioning, hair dryer, shower all much appreciated. Caring staff and good service including laundry facility. Restaurant Vito's is underneath and serves good Italian food...
