"The highlights of our stay were definitely the food, with both breakfast and dinner being excellent. The large swimming pools with warm water were another fantastic feature and made it easy to relax and enjoy our time.
The hotel has made some great improvements, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as having wine glasses in the room and enough amenities provided for all guests.
The entertainment throughout the day was absolutely amazing, with plenty to keep everyone...

"Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel..
Very reasonable priced as I booked a half board with my stay and looks even better in person than portrayed.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and the room I stayed in was so clean and comfortable"

Beautiful hotel set on the lower slopes of Lanzarote, looking out on to the sea. The hotel is stunningly designed, with large rooms, amazing breakfasts, and a great pool. It is secluded and with only 20. rooms, it feels like a personally curated experienced. If you are wanting easy access to a beach and other restaurants (the hotel has its own restaurant but the menu is fairly expensive), this is probably not the hotel for you. If you want some quiet and time alone with a partner or friend, this...

Wonderful boutique hotel that is even better than the photos, friendly helpful staff and superb food and the location in the centre of the old town is great too. We will visit again

Lovely week at this great hotel. Location is great in La Caleta and far enough away from the very built up resorts. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, food was simple but very fresh and we really enjoyed our stay.
As an Expedia VIP, we were treated as a VIP by the hotel which is always nice!
We were their two weeks after opening and even though work was going on to finish gardens and not all cafes were open it wasn't an issue and I think it will all be done in the next...

The hotel was lovely. Its motto is "Charm and Sensitivity" and it lives up to the title. It really is a very charming place. Everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. We could leave the patio doors to our balcony open and wake up to hear the waves on the beach below - very romantic. The housekeeping staff were lovely and Monica at reception very helpful.

Had a lovely time at the Mencey. Staff absolutely lovely and so friendly, hotel both grand in its colonnaded porches and cool inner courtyard, and comfortable, with many places to have drinks and food in the shade and chill. Spa very well kitted out (extra €18 a day) breakfast spread faultless. Grilled Seafood served on the pool terrace is particularly good.
Pool is great, using salt water instead of chlorine. Food in both terrace and main restaurant delicious.
Only note of warning, they are...

This hotel is overall fantastic.
The service is first class and it's spotlessly clean.
There is no beach as such although there are two a short walk away.
Food and drink at the hotel is expensive but there are several restaurants close by within easy walking distance. This hotel is in the upmarket area so these restaurants are also quite pricey so bring twice the money and half the clothes!

We booked a last minute short stay and after seeing all the positive reviews chose this place.
Only ten minutes from the airport via motorway, we were greeted at the hotel driveway entrance by a very welcoming gentleman who was part of the concierge team who directed the taxi to the hotel reception and made us immediately feel welcome and at ease. On arriving at the hotel entrance the other members of his team took our bags and we checked in at reception, where we had the pleasant surprise of...

We had a lovely stay at the jardines de nivaria- a fantastic hotel in a great location right in the centre of Adeje. It has direct access on to the beach and the row of shops and bars in Adeje. The recent refurbishment means the rooms are clean and modern but the hotel still retains the Art Deco vibe in the common areas. The staff are what make this hotel truly 5star though - always friendly, helpful and polite and we could not fault them. The hotel is aimed at the older clientele - which suited...

From the moment we arrived to the time we left the friendly attentive staff made us feel welcome and at home. Even the General manager made daily rounds to talk to guests and listen to their comments. Decorated in a colourful Mexican hacienda style it is beautifully appointed throughout with a number of quiet secluded areas in the grounds around the hotel and pool. The pool area is delightful, has an island and waterfall in front of a covered grotto, a children's pool and includes areas shaded...

The hotel is brand new. We were the sixth guests to check in. The hotel looks amazing and the staff were so excited to be working there. Great facilities and excellent service.

Overall myself and my girlfriend enjoyed a brilliant stay at this hotel, all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Our room had a decent view but wanted an upgrade spoke with reception and gave us a few to choose from with a price of course but well worth it as we got a fantastic panaramic view. If your taking a taxi to the airport I'd buy a ticket from reception as it's a fixed cost of €26... also complimentary room after checkout helps if you have a evening flight home but want to...

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel that we were staying in a 5* hotel. We were greeted with cava upon arrival and the staff accommodated our needs.

We enjoyed a really fabulous week here. The half board option is recommended as the choice of menus both at breakfast and evening mealtime is extensive, multinational and of a high quality. Furthermore, there are a limited number of restaurants in nearby San Sebastián and travel across the island, which has challenging topography, does require transport to access restaurants further afield.

We highly recommend this fabulous hotel. It is beautifully designed throughout with lovely antique furniture and paintings - to give you an idea how attractive it even does tours for the cruise ships as part of a heritage package (they only came once in the week and did not disturb at all). Being adult only means it is so peaceful and it's location, essentially surrounded by banana plantations, means you get no noise disturbance at all.
But it is not isolated, you are 2 minutes walk into...
