"The ocean view was great; however, despite the resort pictures showing you could walk right out onto the beach and access the water, you could not because of the sargassum seaweed. There was a dock for water and boat access. Our room was sufficient, but the entire resort was a little run-down. We went without water one day, and went without hot water for two whole days. Most mornings, we woke up to noise from the construction that was going on. The restaurant closed early because it was slow, so...

"Super relaxing/so laid back. EXCELLENT STAFF. Amazing food! Definitely a must for R&R. The cabanas are perfect for couples or even solo travelers. I would recommend the Villa for girls trip. The resort felt so safe, we didnt even feel the need to lock our door. But definitely bring bug spray! Other than that, bring an excellent camera.
