"This is a modern beautiful boutique hotel with an environmental slant, reducing food waste, plastic etc. Daily activities available to guests and everything was of a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic and the daily afternoon was a welcome treat. The only issue is that the pool and restaurant area are in close vicinity and if guests bring unruly children and lack supervision or control, other guests are adversely impacted. This occurred on our last day."

Breakfast buffet had so much variety, with several made to order items, both Indonesian and continental favorites, with some different variety every day. Pool was huge, plenty of seating w umbrellas. Room had a great view of the resort, and new rooftop restaurant/bar was a bonus."

"This is a five star resort. The rooms are definitely 5 star. My mid level room was huge with a balcony. The bathroom had double sinks and a tub and separate shower. I can’t speak to the comfort of the beds as I travel with a topper. The beach area, pool area, and beachside restaurant definitely need an upgrade and an update. The wicker chairs are peeling, the pool loungers are stained and the cushions are thin. The few chairs actually on the beach are so uncomfortable that I was tempted to walk down the beach and pay for a better chair. As this is a beach resort in a beach town, it would be great if the hotel would invest in these upgrades."

"Lovely location in Sanur by the beach and great staff. The room was super clean but smaller than expected for delux booking. The small area to sit out was not so relaxing as not private to passers by. The breakfast was very busy but I think this was because renovations were taking place when we visited. The pool was lovely but not always easy to get a spot."

"One of the nicest resorts we’ve stayed in. Our King Deluxe room was perfectly positioned in the centre of the resort with a bonus glimpse of the ocean. Room was well appointed with a balcony, comfy daybeds, a nice bathtub and free minibar excl alch. Breakfast is outstanding, very supportive of this concept as it illuminates the food wastage you otherwise see at high-end buffets. We stayed for 7-nights and still didn’t get to try everything. The spa facilities were also excellent. I’m sure they are more expensive than elsewhere but relatively cheap compared to equivalent quality in my home country (NZ). The main pool is huge and there were plenty of loungers for everybody. Still a few guests that felt the need to reserve loungers/cabanas several hours ahead of any intent of using them - but some people can’t be helped! The aqua-arobics at the pool each morning were a little intrusive but there is also a very nice “quiet” pool you can retreat to. Other dining option onsite were great and plentiful, as was the poolside service. No real need to leave the resort and we barely did. Thank you, highly recommend."

"Staff were outstanding.. location fabulous. Breakfast was terrific. Small hotel big experience. Had a room that clearly AC was “unhealthy” giving out peculiar smell making things unpleasant almost unhealthy. Persisted for three days so escalated to Hotel who immediately arranged to change rooms for us. Technology little aged trying to watch streaming services needing corded mouse. Again staff were AMAZING."

About Denpasar
The city of Denpasar is the capital and administrative centre of Bali. It is located in the southern reaches of the island, close to some of the more renowned tourist hotspots like the golden beach attractions of Sanur. Even though it is somewhat overshadowed by resort towns like Kuta and Seminyak, there are still plenty of interesting things to see and do while holidaying in the capital.
Don’t MissThere are numerous beaches just a stone’s throw from the heart of Denpasar. Southern Bali is just a short drive from the city, making it easy to reach some fantastic beaches. Visitors can rent a surfboard and try their hand at riding the waves, or simply just laze upon the beach and enjoy the rays.
Denpasar has a range of beautiful temples that dot the city. One of the most historic temples in the city is Pura Maospahit, which was first built in the 14th century. The royal temples of Satria Palace are also worth experiencing. The intricate carvings and onsite relics are breath-taking.
Each year, Bali hosts some of Indonesia’s most famous festivals, and many are held within or near the capital city. The Sanur Village festival has grown in stature over the past few years, and the month-long Bali Art Festival cannot be missed either. At the end of each year, the DenFest is Denpasar’s major annual event.
Restaurants and BarsThere aren’t too many places in Indonesia that have a more diverse cuisine than Denpasar. Thanks to Bali’s trans-migration policies, plenty of different Indonesian cultures exist within Denpasar. Everything from cheap Chinese seafood through to traditional Gillmanuk village dishes can be found. Denpasar is a great place for a few beverages after dark too. Many different nightclubs and bars offer live music most nights of the week.
ShoppingDenpasar has one of the best shopping cultures in Bali. There are several shopping malls, including the clothing complex Ramayana. The Bandung Central Market is the best place to find local spices and local handicrafts. Jalan Sulawesi is home to an excellent range of gold vendors who offer gold at very competitive prices.
