Delos is one the the many small islands that form the Cyclades archipelago in Greece.

Despite its small size, it is home to one of the most important archeological sites in Greece and well worth the detour.

If, like me, you find yourself stuck on Mykonos which has very little to offer (other than partying), Delos is easily accessible from there by boat.

"The views were great of the harbor. The rooms were nicely furnished and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in all of my years traveling throughout the world. The staff were always helpful and attentive. The only drawback was our shower enclosure leaked when we took a shower running into the other area of the bathroom. The location is nice because you're able to walk downtown, but note its a steep hill up if you're not able to move around easily. Also the public bus is not too...
