Warm wood fire. Easy access to owner if required. Layout of the house. Very relaxing, comfortable, quiet. Well equipped kitchen. Ability to meander along the foreshore.

A beautiful location with a magic view, and lots of birds and larger animals. Not for everyone, though, as many will miss their TV and air conditioner. But for the nature lover, a great place to unwind and relax.

Was a shared bathroom which wasn’t mentioned on Expedia. Was a shared lounge - no furniture in the room. Bed was on the floor with heavyweight Doonah weighing us down all night sweating. Next door room snored all night. The place is a glorified backpackers masquerading as a yoga retreat but not advertised as such. Will not be returning to line their pockets with our hard earned money. Not this little black duck and so severely overpriced. Noisy building, creaky floor boards, noisy pipes, communal kitchen, lineup for toilet and bathroom. False advertising!

Tranquility Point lived up to its name. We had a lovely stay. Our room (Oak) was great. We were on our own the first night so we had everything to ourselves. The next night there was another guest. We had a relaxing night around the fire. Ben is a great host who made us feel very comfortable and welcome. He even gave us some of the fresh produce from the property. I did the Bikram Yoga class with Ben in the morning.

Beautiful, quiet location with great host.

Beautiful location at tip of small point. Looks over water. Share facilities. We were able to use the kitchen to cook our dinner - very good kitchen that was well equipped. Host is delightful & very helpful. He lit a fire for us as the day had been cold & drizzley. Lounge & dining areas very comfortable. Would recommend this place & we would definitely stay again.

the huon valley is magnificent....

deep bay is gorgeous. tranquil point is more of a home stay than a hotel. the rooms are basic, the house is basic and the real magic is in the local area. the huon valley is gorgeous and if you're willing to give up a few luxuries a night or two might be the answer you're looking for. (p.s., the host is super helpful)
