"Nice hotel but the black out curtain does not cover the whole window and the sun streams in through the side of the curtain. (This cost a star on the rating.) Breakfast was not included. Charge to park in garage, but plenty of street parking for free! Location is good if you are in the area. Not great depending on where you need to go in LA. But good for my family and friends. Gym is 3 machines and some weights. TV did not work on the treadmill. Makes for a boring workout."

"Main issue was the housekeeper using a burning vacuum. It smelled like burnt vacuum everyday and 1 night was so bad that we were coughing and had trouble breathing. We could hear other people coughing from it as well. My husband told the front desk, which came to our floor and acknowledged the smell but did nothing about it. The room was decent, clean when we arrived, and felt like it was recently updated. I do think everything was spaced too far apart though. I couldn’t even reach the night stand while laying/sitting in bed. Parking could be done better, but I understand they are limited on space and are trying to use as much as possible. You’ll either be parking in a front space, which could possibly get blocked in by someone else. Or you’ll be the car blocking someone in, and if they can’t get you to move for that person you will be charged for “double parking”. Very close to Universal Studios, which was the reason for our stay."

"About 10 minute easy drive to Universal Studios, which is why we stayed here. In the short amount of time I chose to book places for our trips my choices were limited, would I stay here again? No. It wasn’t bad, we ultimately just wanted a place to sleep at night and get ready. Free parking would be great but it was $13/night if you don’t book directly with them. Parking is tight so good luck if you have a big vehicle! It’s within walking distance of places to eat and shop. The bathroom is totally dated, the shower hardly worked. The a/c worked well. There’s a pool, never saw anyone using it. The staff at front desk were fine."

"Overall, we had a great stay! The property is well-maintained, the staff is very friendly, and our room was easily one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in—plus, the bathroom is absolutely huge. There are just two minor things to note regarding noise: the property sits right next to the 5 freeway, so you can hear highway traffic, and if you aren’t on the top floor, you will likely hear the people above you walking around. We also had a slight hiccup with housekeeping—we requested a room cleaning before heading out for the day, but returned to find it hadn't been touched. However, the front desk handled it well when I called; they offered to send someone up right away, though we ultimately opted to just take the fresh towels they provided. I would absolutely stay here again!"
