Not returning

The hotel is in bad condition and if I had another option I would have left. No Wifi, refrigerator and many other features listed in hotels.com. I changed rooms 2 times, first for a rusted out bathroom, then later the nightclub 6 floors down sounded like it was in my room. The new room was still noisy but not quite as loud. The staff was really amazing and kind.

First of all, I want to stress that all hotel staff (reception and restaurant) was friendly and very helpful! My poor evaluation is exclusively due to the conditions of the building which is extremely run down. Seems that since construcion no maintenance at all. That's a pity since it seems that when new it has been a nice place. Only reason to stay there: You have to be at Ubungo bus stand at 6 in the morning a need to buy the ticket the day before.

Booked just because of closeness to bus station

Breakfast was not ready at the it should be served. Reception (female) unfriendly and mixed up booking. Bathroom of the room no three stars at all

Altes Hotel in schlechtem Umfeld

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort. Bei der Ankunft war Stromausfall, das Zimmer klein und laut aufgrund des Umfelds (Diskos, Bars, Geschäfte). Im Bad keine Handtücher und WC-Papier, erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen kam etwas. Das Personal ist unfreundlich und wollte/ konnte auch kein Englisch sprechen / verstehen.

Worst Hotel Experience

Utterly unprofessional. The place was very filthy from reception up to the reception desk which is where I ended. Staff very lazy not bothered to verify booking details, they tell you straight that you must contact your booking agency, its not their problem. Security not in uniform. Random people just chilling by reception couches. Gives you a feeling of dire lack of safety.

A disappointing experience

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Firstly, they wouldn't acknowledge our reservation through hotels.com and they claimed that they weren't getting paid by the site. They demanded that we pay cash and get a refund from the site. There was no hot water for the two nights we ended up staying there and we ordered hot water kettles to the room 3 times of which they delivered once. The breakfast consisted of bread, donuts and a fried root of sorts. The lift was broken on check out day and the staff was overbearing and not very forthcoming.

there is no WI-FI or internet cable. the lights are very dark. and they did not have account which Expredia . I need to pay cash for my room and they can not take credit!
