The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. "
"The location is dreamy on a foggy morning. My room is in the back, away from the road.There are porch chairs right outside of my door on the strip of patio. The air is fresh. The bed is huge. A nutritious healthy family breakfast is served on a traditional dinner table in the kitchen/dining room by the very nice couple who run the inn. "
"This is a great stop over motel. Bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noises from other quests rooms. Not a crowded place in the summer. I went in July and the air conditioner was excellent, easy to adjust. I like white noise when I sleep and the air conditioner does make a hum and a few clicks now and then but not in the least disturbing. No clanging or rattling. Pillows comfortable. The only thing I thought a bit lacking was a table. I used the ironing board as a dining table which worked...
"A refurbished old Vermont home with a beautiful view of the Connecticut river. The young couple who own the home were delightful and very attentive. It was comfortable and very unique. I would certainly stay here again."
