Even though the property is close to I-5 it was quiet at night. We did keep the fan on for white noise. The mattress was ok, but the pillows caused some stiffness in the neck the next day. The staff was accommodating with getting my husband a key to settle in while I finished checking us in which we appreciated. Bentley’s coffee was nice and close, but I didn’t try it. Seemed like a popular coffee place in the mornings with their drive through.

The Rodeway Inn is one of the few motels in Albany, all of which are close to I-5. We use it because it is very reasonably priced and convenient for an annual event that starts at the Linn County Fairgrounds/Expo Center each year. It is just off of US20, which gives a direct route into downtown Albany. The Rodeway's rooms are clean and comfortable, and decent value for the price. There is loads of parking. One new addition this year is an outdoor roller skating rink on formerly unused land near the motel. There was music booming from it, but they stopped by 10pm - it was audible inside our room, but not overly loud (the air conditioner drowned it out).

Very friendly, helpful staff. We used the laundry room and appreciated that they could make change for us at the office. Got coffee every morning. The roses, daisies and rhododendrons were are beautiful. We got very clear instructions on where the best places were preferred for us to take our dogs so we could be good guests. The room was clean and they provided us with fresh towels during our three night stay. We enjoyed quiet and solitude during the evenings.
