Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Terrible experience with the host, but excellent customer service from the hotel platform
Our experience with this property was extremely disappointing. We were never provided with the necessary check-in information and, as a result, were unable to access the property at all. Because of this, I cannot speak to the cleanliness, condition, amenities, or interior of the home because we were never able to enter it.
What made the situation especially unacceptable was that we were left without a place to stay at approximately 10:00 PM at night. The host did not respond to our attempts to communicate, and even the hotel platform’s customer support was unable to get a response from the host.
Traveling with my family, being left without accommodations late at night was incredibly stressful and unacceptable. We had made arrangements and expected to have a place to stay, only to find ourselves essentially stranded.
I do want to recognize the hotel platform’s customer service team. They were extremely accommodating and worked with us to help secure alternative accommodations so that my family was not left without somewhere to go late at night. Their assistance made a very difficult situation significantly more manageable.
Unfortunately, the host’s lack of communication and failure to provide access to the property completely overshadowed the experience. I would not recommend booking this property based on our experience.
