The property was great but because we booked through expedia we were not aware that they no longer serve breakfast and there pool and workout area is no longer available because they are getting ready to convert to dorm rooms for the college.

This is a college town atmosphere and we felt right at home, since we live in Lexington, KY. We highly recommend the Cumberland Inn to stop for a quiet night.

That Breakfast!!!

Affordable rooms, with really top notch amenities. The complimentary breakfast alone makes me want to come back next time I'm visiting family.

Nice bed but use judgement

First room given was very spacious but freeway noise was extremely loud. Latch on window would not secure shut and was open upon arrival. Had to request different room due to the noise. Second room was nice size and quieter. Iron was broken and had to borrow from room next door. Slept well both nights but woke up with excruciating headache after second night that disappeared after being in fresh air for 15 minutes leaving all to wonder if it had something to do with air quality or cleaning chemicals used in hotel. Food was marginal. Personnel were pleasant.

The property was lovely and well maintained. My only complaint was the fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy as if something was loose and rattling around. The breakfast bar was delicious and had good offerings. Being a tea drinker, I would suggest adding some green and herbal teas.

The Cumberland Inn is a great place to stay. It's run by the University and managed by students studying hotel and restaurant management. The prices are great and the facilities ate beautiful.

Everything was okay but the people who stay there are not considerate. They leave food trays open, therefore the food gets cold for the next people.

The bedding was so plush, clean and lavish. I plan to actually purchase the same. The breakfast was a huge, hot buffet, in a beautiful setting.

We enjoyed our stay. 4 people in one room. Very comfortable. Chose this hotel because it had Q beds instead of Full, plus a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast included, although I didn’t partake. We arrived at 12:30pm. Even though the hotel appeared to be empty, we weren’t allowed to check in unless we were charged an extra fee. The attendant recommended Cumberland Falls. It was the highlight of our trip. Awesome hiking and exploring. We attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin for Easter Sunday - highly recommend this experience as well!
