Your staff was great--especially given the Iowa/Iowa State weekend. I had to add a night to the start of my stay, and, whilst it was expensive, your staff helped accommodate. My biggest disappointment with the property is the "fitness center". You guys should invest in, at minimum. a few weight machines. You spent money on a pool---but have NO machines or weights? That was a BIG bummer.

1/5 rating ​For the premium price tag we paid over an Iowa Hawkeyes game weekend, this stay was a huge disappointment and nowhere near worth the money. ​Pros ​Comfortable Beds: The one real highlight was the bedding, the mattress and pillows were genuinely comfortable and made for a decent night’s sleep. ​Standard Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast spread was decent, offering standard hotel fare to get the day started. ​Cons ​Outdated & Worn Down: The property is really showing its age. The hallways are covered in scuff marks, the general decor feels way out of date, and the elevator moves at a painfully slow pace. ​Mold in the First Room: When we checked into our initial room, we found actual mold growing in the corner. We showed a picture to the front desk and asked to change rooms, but it was unclear if they even bothered to address or clean the moldy room after we moved. ​Peeling Paint & Poor Maintenance: The second room wasn't much better. The paint on the ceiling right above the shower was peeling off, which was honestly disgusting to look at. See the attached photos. ​Overpriced Game-Day Trap: We honestly wanted to pack up and leave for another hotel, but since it was a Hawkeyes game weekend, every single property in the area was fully booked. We were stuck paying top dollar for sub-par conditions. ​We definitely won't be returning, and we'll be telling friends and family heading to future Hawkeyes games to steer far clear of this location
