"My room was beautiful and spacious. The only thing I did not like was the Cuban Sandwich. Every staff that I met was friendly and helpful if needed. The only thing I did not like was the Cuban sandwich. However the fries that came with were some of the best I have ever had. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Miami and pass on the Cuban Sandwich."

"The Gables Inn serves its purpose well. Close to the U, and with no frills. I've stayed there several times and have always found it clean and equipped as expected. Bed comfort is what took away 1 star. They often creak or squeak, and the mattresses are fairly old. But the AC works, and the refrigerator in the room, and coffee in the lobby are appreciated."
