We had a nice stay but on the site it said bikes could be hired. We asked but the hotel didn’t have any which meant we had to rely on expensive taxis and the bus. Only on the last day did we realise Birkerod station had bolt bikes which would have been great to get about on as we decided not to hire a car .

Positives: solution orientated staff, lush and green surroundings, surprisingly good breakfast. Negatives: incredible hot and stuffy room, faul smelling bed linnen, quite uncharming interior. Overall: Most likely great for conferences etc., and for one night stays.

The hotel is on the countryside. Restaurant is closed on sunday. So disapointed that it was no sandwiches or other food for sale in the reception. Would have been nice to buy icecream also.

Great hotel but poor accessibility

We loved the hotel, but I was almost charged for a pet cleaning fee for my service dog despite my reservation saying that they do not charge for service dogs. I had to show my reservation to the person in the front desk to prove what I was saying. Apparently the manager is considering charging for service dogs in the future, which is a major issue considering accessibility.
