The Point Coolum Beach

"We stayed for a week as a family of four, with two teenagers, in a three-bedroom apartment. The apartment had some great features, including views of the water, three separate bedrooms, modern bathrooms and parking. The property was relatively quiet, and it was an easy walk into town, which we did one day. The staff were fantastic, and communication from the property was excellent throughout our stay. There were a couple of areas for improvement. While the apartment was clean, it felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. The beds were also not particularly comfortable. Additionally, the water views were more restricted than the property photos might suggest, as the images appear to showcase the apartment with the best view rather than what you can necessarily expect from a standard apartment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the helpful staff, convenient location and spacious layout. With more comfortable beds and some refreshing of the apartment interiors, the experience could be even better."

"Our stay at the Novotel was fantastic, the older rooms are tired and in needing for a upgrade however the grounds and facilities make up for it. The new rooms are beautiful, spacious and worth the extra money. The staff were so helpful and lovely, activities for the kids were thoughtful and well planned. The only downside to this property is the food. The food selection was minimal and there were next to no vegetables offered. You are a 30 min walk to the closest IGA or other cafe so just something to consider if you don't have a car."
