"The hotel is uphill with beautiful views of the mountains. The sunset was incredible. Be aware the road is unsealed the last kilometre and you need to WhatsApp message the hotel in advance of arrive for them to open the entry gate. Staff were very friendly and accomodating even though our Spanish is terrible. This is a boutique hotel with only 5 rooms and we had the place to ourselves. "Amazing atmosphere in this country setting. Staff were wonderful, food and drink was great. The spa baths, temezcal, and massages are excellent. Horseback riding was a fantastic experience. The road to get there is difficult, so do not take a regular car taxi to get there, it will not make it and there is no cellular service in the area to call for help whrn you get stuck. Use a truck taxi or SUV. The hotel has wifi."
