COVID-19 may have changed how we travel, but it hasn't curbed our appetite for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to cope with the new challenges of travelling:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before locking in a flight. Also check if there are any conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as taking a COVID-19 test.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. You should be prepared to lower your mask for ID verification when asked by a TSA officer.
• Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it straight on the reader yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your hand luggage. This will need to be removed for X-ray screening.
• Place any personal items (like your phone and wallet) in your carry-on rather than a bin to reduce handling during screening.
• If you're planning to take food on board, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for inspection.
