Excellent Hotel, Wonderful Staff

Wonderful hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly. They assisted us since before we booked our stay (being from San Marino, we had issues with the Green Pass). The SPA is without a doubt one of the best I have seen. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk from the lift and train station. We will go back as soon as we can.

Sorpresa negativa all'arrivo!!!

Prenoto in questo hotel il 14 maggio per la terza settimana di luglio, 2 mesi di anticipo. Unica richiesta: camera N O N fronte strada, possibilmente fronte parco. Mi arriva una mail di conferma prenotazione con scritto: Nessun problema, sarà nostra premura soddisfare la sua richiesta. Arriva mail pochi giorni prima del check in con memorandum della prenotazione, attività consigliate, vantaggi gratuiti ecc ecc. Insomma, i presupposti fanno intendere che le 4 stelle dell'hotel sono pienamente meritate. Ho avuto anche un colloquio telefonico per la conferma di tutti i parametri da me richieste... Il top! Arriviamo in hotel verso le 14:25-30, effettuiamo il check in senza problemi, arriviamo in camera e.... TA DAN!!!! La camera è a 10 metri dalla strada!!! Sicuro di un simpatico scherzo visto che la mia unica richiesta è stata: NO fronte strada. Vado al desk dalla receptionist e le faccio presente che:"da intercorse comunicazioni sia telefoniche che via mail, ci deve assolutamente essere stato un errore!!!" La signorina al desk si irrigidisce terribilmente e mi dice che non è possibile, anzi, per la camera che abbiamo prenotato noi quello è il massimo che potevamo ottenere, che se volevamo PAGANDO DI PIU' potevamo avere una camera più tranquilla. Io sono rimasto allibito dalla scortesia della signorina che mentre mi parlava rispondeva al telefono, parlava con qualcuno dietro la reception e badava a me, tutto allo stesso tempo! Aspetti che arrivi in hotel per dirmi che la stanza che pago non può soddisfare le richieste che ti ho fatto per mail due mesi prima??? Scandaloso! Nonostante l'insistenza la receptionist mi dice che più di tanto non c'è problema, che la strada è del paese e non passano tante macchine................... La prima mattina alle 6:50 apro la finestra per vedere cos'è che fa tremare la stanza! A parte le macchine a super velocità, camion su camion diretti a due diversi cantieri a poche centinaia di metri dall'hotel che abbiamo scoperto la sera dopo cena andando a fare una passeggiata!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alla faccia della strada del paesino di montagna poco trafficata!!! Prima impressione su cortesia personale e capacità di problem solving: 0. L'ultimo giorno mi permetto di far notare tutti i vari disguidi ad una nuova signora al desk che non che ALMENO si scusa e mi conferma che nelle note era presente la richiesta di una camera tranquilla. (Ovviamente in allegato foto della distanza della strada alla camera...) CIBO: superbo, ai limiti dell'eccellenza. Un buffet sia a cena che a colazione veramente particolare e variegato, ottimo e prontamente rifornito appena un elemento iniziava a scarseggiare. Siamo sempre stati serviti da un ragazzo gentilissimo e disponibilissimo! Unica pecca l'impossibilità di avere l'acqua in caraffa con un costo obbligato di 2,5€ a bottiglia da 0,75 l per l'acqua della fonte Pejo a 15 km di distanza! CENTRO BENESSERE: stupendo, veramente ben fatto ed organizzato a livello strutturale! L'unica cosa che mancherebbe è la doccia ghiacciata stile "secchio" da rovesciarsi addosso finita la sauna, per il resto è bellissimo! Per quanto riguarda l'organizzazione.................. Il centro mettetevela via diventa pienamente operativo alle 16, prima la sauna è a 30-40° e il bagno turco è spento. Senza contare che in 5 giorni di permanenza e 4 di uso, 2 volte è saltata la corrente e 1 il bagno turco funzionava a colpi. Prenotare un massaggio??? Per carità!!! Se non volete sorbirvi le filippiche della spa manager che vi irride al momento della richiesta di disponibilità per un massaggio dopo le 17!!! I massaggi li si prenotano solo al momento della prenotazione della camera, altrimenti non si trovano! Di tutta risposta abbiamo preso i nostri soldi e li abbiamo portati alle terme di Pejo, massaggi prenotati la sera per il pomeriggio dopo e personale gentile e disponibile! INTRATTENIMENTO: unico punto di forza della vacanza, il sig. Pannocchia e il sig. Rino sono semplicemente impagabili. Il sig. Rino poi è una guida alpinistica sempre in grado di proporti il percorso più idoneo e più bello!!! Ogni suo consiglio è stato super apprezzato in escursione, senza contare le lezioni di botanica, geologia ed eno-gastonomia! Voto finale: troppe approssimazioni per un 4 stelle. Cerco del personale che mi risolva i problemi, no che me ne crei di più o che non mi ascolti, per quello mi basta l'ufficio! Per quanto riguarda la nostra esperienza, non mi sento di consigliare questo hotel.
