"I booked a room the picture showed a bed and a separate little room with a couch but the room that I got just had the bed and a Shelf with a pad on it that was my best apparently supposed to be a couch but barely looks like it was going to be able to hold more than a few bags let alone an adult person and wouldn't have been comfortable if I even tried. The room was very small smaller than I expected but that was fine the bed was not very comfortable it felt more like a cheap pad than a mattress and i couldnt get comfortable. The walls also must be paper thin because I could clearly hear my next door neighbor snoring all night which prompted me to leave 5 in the morning instead of sleeping in like I had planned. I also was treated to loud pounding music from the parking lot when I checked in about 3:30 until I went to my destination about 6:00 p.m. there was no hiding from that with some light music or TV playing either. The shower worked fine and had okay water pressure + hot water the whole place looked very nice but things just felt incredibly cheap and I wouldn't probably go back unless I had no choice. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and helpful and I didn't bring the wrong room thing to their attention because it wasn't worth the hassle for the few hours I would be there but it would be nice to not have the wrong room given to you when you book one from the hotels app and then you get a different room from what you booked. "

"Rooms were very nice. Our tub was not clean though. In person doesn’t seem as grand as the photos. Breakfast was the same as any other hotel, maybe a little below the average level. Staff were not at all friendly. "

"Awesome clean updated wonderful place! Amenities include indoor pool, sauna & outdoor jacuzzi, firepits on site & we got king Stuga which came with its own firepit too, cottage we had was incredible with kitchenette and stocked essentials, deffenitly a must stay n best place in Vermont hands down, its a 10 star place."

"It’s been a few years since we have stayed at TopNotch. It’s less ‘TopNotch’ and in need of updating and significant renovation. Staff were super helpful and considerate - glad to see that that has not changed!"

"Very poorly managed property. We rented a “premium suite” (room was not as described) for a rare night out and were looking forward to a restful stay and chance to use the amenities we paid for. Instead our room was not ready at 4pm (the scheduled check in time) We were told that the delay was caused from college graduation weekend. Meaning it was a totally predictable high turnover time! Management failed to prepare accordingly and our plans were completely derailed. we didn’t end up in our room until after 7pm because we came back to inquire, although we were told we would receive a call. unacceptable. Won’t be back and I will bad mouth this hotel as frequently and harshly as possible. Go to hotel Vermont instead"

"Staff was super friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely on the lower end of the price spectrum but overall a nice place to sleep "

"This property is lovely. I wished they had a more comfortable sofa pull out mattress but my parents’ king was very comfortable. The lazy goat restaurant on property is amazing and the people are super friendly."
