We has a 3 night stay 22-24 Mach 2024. The resort is very good, pool, spa are excellent. 1/2 court tennis as well. Has a cafe & restaurant (didn't try them). Has a boom gate secure undercover car park - only issue is the narrow car spaces. The resort was full. We came back sat night after 10pm and only 2 car spaces were left. But I couldn't park our medium sedan into any, as large SV's/Utes parked either side. If I parked in the space you couldn't open the door enough to get out. So had to park on the public street outside the resort. We had a two bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable. kitchen was well appointed with all the necessary pots, pan, utensils, china & cutlery etc. Only issue was the beds were not comfortable, very soft no support. We mentioned this on checkout - we had an older room. The apartments are being refurbished. The apartment has ceiling fans, security fly screens on windows and doors for ventilation. But no air conditioning.

Generally good however the pool was closed on Thursday which was really a hot n humid day! Azalea had a disadvantage due to foot traffic n very noisy during the night with lot of people speaking loudly n moving things it was very disturbing trying to get some sleep!!

As someone that has used this resort a number of times and is also an owner I was very disappointed in the condition of the resort. The resort could spend some time and money just cleaning eg the path's and the roof tiles just to give the place a bit of a face lift.

Beautiful place to stay specially with kids everything on site pool, gym, sauna, kayaking. Just the exhaust in the bathroom was not working no maintenance person was sent but guess it will be eventually fixed! Overall great place to stay!

Staff is so nice, great place for family’s, we love it here, you can cook your own food and enjoy a fun filled stay. We started going here when my kids were 4 and now they are 12 and still beg to go.

Our stay here was disappointing this time. When we stayed here a couple of years ago we had a 1br unit with kitchen and view from the balcony of the river adjoining the property. Not knowing there were any other types of accommodation (thus not requesting the one we had before) we were given a second story unit with balcony overlooking the car park. The unit was spacious, with a kitchen, but not at all what we expected. We could have stayed at another location with the same amenities for a lot less money. We booked here because of the pleasant overlook from our last visit.

So much to do at the resort, tennis, putt putt, lawn bowls, squash and swim. Has an on-site coffee shop which was handy. Lovely place to stay.

Fabulous location next to the creek, lots of outdoor activities included in the cost of the stay, very clean. Pool was open until 10pm, so there was lots of noise late at night for young sleeping children.

The property was really quiet despite it being peak holiday season and fully packed. Our room was clean and well equipped for our needs. The river was beautiful and there was a great walk up to the beach and headlands. We also enjoyed the Indian restaurant.

This is the second time we have stayed as a family and can’t say enough good things. Some of the rooms are a little dated but the facilities ie. the pool, mini golf and bbq make up for it. Love it. We will def be back.

Property has a great range of amenities - tennis court, pool, mini golf, canoes, and a stones throw away from the beach. Our only hesitation is the lack of air-conditioning in the 2 bdr apartments, but were in luck this visit with no heat wave, and a very pleasant cool downstairs apartment.

Comfort, convenience and Options
The resort is close to supermarkets and convenience stores so you can make your own meals in-house. It is close to the town of Sawtell with its boutique shops and cafes, whale and dolphin watching as well. The resort staff are friendly, and you can sit back and relax or join in group activities. Gym, spa and sauna are clean and resident hairdresser and beautician was very affordable. We didn’t go to the restaurant, but it always had people dining in there. Pool area is large and attractive with a couple of native lizards enjoying the sun there too. Room was a bit tired and decor was dated, but clean.

We had a fabulous stay. The staff were great as the pool was fantastic. The only downfall was that there was no restaurant on premises. So we had to go out to get meals daily. We will definantely be staying there again.

Apartment was great but unfortunately the bed and the pillows were really uncomfortable. The restaurant was not open and the Cafe was shut in Sunday - which meant having to get into the car and drive to get a lot of meals.

Hotel was good in a great location , no restaurant open at hotel was a bummer but where it was located I can see why it would struggle. Rooms are a bit dated, laundry and bathroom in one and one of those terrible bath/showers to get in my nerve . Our room was located right near smoking location and with constant smoking it made me sick and was unable to let our room air out .. But I would go back but request a different room. because it was relaxing and there were lots of activity’s for the family .

The staff were quite short and boardering on rude. The cabin was old and had a musty smell and it wasn't that clean. Would never stay here again.

Great Resort for Families! Feels great to let the kids run around in a protected environment, no car traffic, and no multi level monstrosity of a hotel like most offerings. Great Location, excellent for walks and exploring.
