We pre booked and prepaid for the hotel stay for July 11-14th. Upon arrival and a few hours after checking in, we needed to cancel. We were willing to pay for the first night even though we didn’t even stay and had checked out a few hours after checkin. The front staff stated that since we had prepaid we would need to negotiate with Expedia and the General Manager. I called a few times between Expedia and the hotel and was told to let Expedia negotiate it. A week went back and the General Manager refused to refund the cancellation. Here’s a lesson to folks, don’t stay at Sure Stay Post Falls or don’t pre-pay through Expedia. Typically you can cancel and only be responsible for a night of the stay. We won’t be referring this hotel to family or friends for our future stays in town. The one positive was the lady in the front desk was friendly and as helpful as she could be.
