"It states 1 min from the beach. This is false! The complex beach club house is, but not the apartment where you stay. It is a 10-15 min walk. The whole point of us booking this stay was because it was on the beach. We had our pregnant daughter with us and didn’t want her to have to walk far in the heat. Very disappointed at the misleading information given. We have always trusted Hotel.com and use them all the time. A valuable lesson was learned. This was not what we were sold when we booked it. We received the address a few days before departing. Contacted them directly regarding this but no reply. We had already paid and would not receive a refund as per booking. A family holiday that was meant to be a special occasion was left making the best out of what we got. "

"Great location, right by the beach. Friendly staff. The pool was nice to cool off. There is a poolside restaurant (fairly priced and the food except the sushi was good) and they had different activities like bingo, trivia games, open mike and live music in the evenings, which was a nice touch when we got in from our other activities and outings for the day or didn't want to venture out as it was so hot! "

"The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They lent us umbrellas for us to use while we stayed there because of the weather conditions. They gave us information on the best places to eat and made us feel at home. While the hotel is not a luxury resort, I was pleasantly surprised how big the hotel room was. It had a separate kitchen and couch and the outside patio was very large with furniture and a hammock. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Costa Rica. "

"Spent a week here had an amazing time close to the beach and easy walk to the main strip with plenty of food options. Nice pool and the bun had everything u needed if u wanted to cook."
