Excellent hotel in a restored historic building. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Views of river and castle are beautiful. About a 10 minute walk to central Cochem. Lovely, quiet place with a cute wine bar next door. Easy parking behind hotel. No elevator, however, so pack accordingly. Cute self service bar and patio.

Close to Castle Cochem with beautiful views, hotel Villa Vie was modern, clean, well kept, and well worth the price. If you are coming in via train and have luggage, make sure to grab a taxi, as it is a short ride from the train station. The downtown is a short walk away.

Beautiful hotel

I stayed in the junior suite. The one I was given was the more modern one, which I absolutely loved it. On my arrival I was welcomed and the lady at the reception was really friendly and helpful. The room was ver clean, it had a lounge, a bathroom and a separate bedroom. It was very specious and clean. The lounge you could see the river and the castle, stunning views. I went for the breakfast buffet and it was great, lots of variety and delicious. Would highly recommend the place.
