I had a great stay at the Best Western Blankenburg Hotel in Coburg. The staff were very friendly and always made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room was comfortable and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast offered a nice variety of food, with something for everyone to enjoy. The location was also convenient for exploring Coburg and the surrounding area. Overall, a very positive experience and I would gladly stay here again.

Great service!

I had accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day, but the desk clerk was able to accommodate me by replacing my double room reservation with two single room reservations for the corrrect day and didn't charge me any additional fees for what was truly my mistake.

Überraschend schönes Hotel mit Wohlfühlfaktor

Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage direkt unterhalb der Veste und nur rund 10-12 Minuten Fußweg von der Altstadt entfernt. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor der Tür, sodass man auch bequem mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ins Zentrum fahren kann. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel vorhanden, was sehr praktisch ist. Der Empfang war ausgesprochen freundlich, der Check-in unkompliziert und das gesamte Personal stets hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Hotel wurde renoviert und macht insgesamt einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber, ebenso das Badezimmer. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der vorhandene Safe. Einen Kühlschrank gibt es leider nicht, aber im Erdgeschoss steht ein Getränkeautomat mit einer kleinen Auswahl an Snacks und Getränken bereit. Die Lage ist insgesamt gut: Man erreicht die Altstadt bequem zu Fuß. Das Frühstück hat uns auch gut gefallen. Es gibt zwar keine riesige Auswahl, dafür ist alles von guter Qualität, frisch und geschmacklich hervorragend. Besonders die leckeren Brötchen. Ein guter Start in den Tag. Insgesamt waren wir positiv überrascht, wie schön unser Aufenthalt war. Das Hotel ist sowohl für einen Städtetrip als auch für einen Kurzaufenthalt bestens geeignet. Absolut empfehlenswert – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
