"A chance encounter to break up a long journey back from Meribel to the UK. We were very pleased with every aspect of the stay. The place is beautifully decorated and ultra clean. We had some home cooked Chinese food which went down well with all the family, even accommodating gluten allergy. Next time we are passing we would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful clean renovation of gorgeous building on rustic property setting. Stayed one night - any longer I might have been frustrated with set up of all kitchen bits available but down stairs. We were in Berthe which is a large rm but has the most uncomfortable wicker chairs so sat on the bed. Didn’t get to the bottom of why we didn’t get checkin info automatically but when we did it was very clean and easy to follow. "

"L’hotel mériterait un ménage plus approfondi (poussière sous les lits, rideaux, placards),.. c’est pas terrible terrible… surtout lorsqu’on prévient qu’il y a deux asthmatiques dans la famille. Résultat, mauvaise nuit, crise d’asthme ! On a payé ces 2 chambres plus de 200€ pour 2 nuits… très déçus !!!"

All the staff I spoke to were local, clearly very proud of the area, and exceptionally helpful and considerate throughout our stay. "Genau richtig für einen Zwischenstopp. Einfache Zimmer, ums Bett herum etwas wenig Platz, das hat für eine Person für eine Nacht aber nicht gestört. Sehr großzügige Dusche, wenn man die Größe des Zimmers bedenkt. Raum war angenehm temperiert, Sonnenblende war geschlossen, um Hitze draußen zu halten. Der Raum war sehr sauber, das Bett bequem. Es gibt keinen Schrank im Zimmer, brauchte ich für eine Nacht aber auch nicht."

"Nicht besonders sauber, schwarzer Schimmel im Zimmer. Das Zimmermädchen legt saubere Handtücher und Bettwäsche im Flur auf den Boden, nicht sehr hygienisch. Von außen echt schön, schade, könnte man etwas draus machen. Dame an der Rezeption bei Check-out sehr unfreundlich, man glaubte es erst morbidem Schimmel, als sie jemanden hinauf schickte zum nachschauen, nicht besonders gastfreundlich."
