Incredible stay

An incredible stay at Suites del lago, exceeded all expectations. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms& facilities. A couple of minute walk away from the marina which has lots of beautiful restaurants, would highly recommend.

The staff are attentive & friendly, the food at the hotel is top quality with plenty of choices. If you fancy a change, there are plenty of good restaurants around the pretty harbour. The resort is quite, perfect for a relaxing break.

Very nice set up. Restaurants were plentiful and varied but (at least for our tastes), a bit overpriced for the food quality on offer. Staff were pleasant but not particularly warm - could be hard to get service. The exception to this was breakfast which was exceptional in terms of food and service level. Overall a great stay, but room for improvements.

Great hotel

Had a short 2 day stay. The hotel did a room upgrade for us which was nice of them. Also the service was great and amenities are awesome. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely return

This resort is excellent! I HIGHLY recommend staying in the suites with your own private pool. It is well worth it. The complimentary breakfast buffet and hot meal is very a really nice added touch and the service is great. It is walkable to nearby beaches, restaurants, harbor and shops. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will return!

Although I loved the staff, there was issues with our check-in because the “pool needed fixing”. It took an hour and a half past established check-in time for us to be able to go in the room. The pool wasn’t the cleanest and it had been recently painted with a white paint that left a white residue and stained our swimwear. We waited it out as they had suggested but it never stopped staining, so we could not enjoy it. It is not as private as it may appear either. The staff were great and welcoming. Rooms were specious. I perceived some stains on the curtains during our stay there. The area is safe. I honestly which they would’ve been responsive to my concerns about the pool as we were looking to enjoy it but weren’t able to.

Lovely stay at Lago Suites

Fantastic weekend getaway! Staff are truly friendly and professional and were able to help us with everything we needed for the weekend! Britanny at the Lago hotel side was so friendly with recommendations as well! The only downside is the state of the spa, which i was disappointed in the condition. It needs maintenance and upgrading. Also, given it is a 5* hotel, i expected it not be accessible for free (obviously pay for treatments). Breakfast at the suites was also truly exceptional, i would come back again!

The hotel is nice but I would not say it's a 5 stars. More like a 4 stars. Surrounding of the hotel is not good at all. Breakfast very poor choice the whole week the same and location of the breakfast not the best. Rooms are nice and staff super super

Incredible 5 night stay, June 2024

Wow!! Fantastic 5 night stay in June. We were two couples travelling together. We both had the suite rooms and they were amazing with lots of room and storage. Clean, fresh and lots of features with multiple TV’s, HVAC and lighting controls. Nice balcony too with a view of the pools. We had the half board and ate breakfast’s and dinners at the FOC restaurant. Food was incredible and service was amazing. Staff were so friendly. We had a car rented so used it to successfully explore the island. We also used the hiking trails that start near the hotel. Also highly recommend the boat excursion with skipper Mark - fantastic way to spend 4 hrs. Loved it!!

Hmmm - tbh… the superb staff try v. hard… however, all undermined by the cacophony of ‘lift music’ they insist on playing around the pool. Not only that, sitting on our balcony in the evening - you get different piped music from the two hotel restaurants clashing and ruining what should be a peaceful evening. It’s so old fashioned to play cringe music like this. All of us have our own headphones to play the music we like without bothering others. Please, please stop this…. I gave a mid stay comment about this.., they didn’t have the courtesy to reply :-( Our shower smelled, the soap bottles were iffy…there’s no handle on the outside of the patio doors so you have to try and grip the glass to open/shut the door…. But the staff are brilliant :-)

This is a gorgeous hotel. Every part of it feels like a luxurious spa, and there are tons of restaurant/food options that are excellent both on site and right around the corner. Would absolutely go back!

Nice place and nice staff. We had to change rooms as our first room backed onto a very noisy marina which we didn’t want but the hotel were great and gave us another room is a nicer spot. We enjoyed the stay.
