"The breakfast was great enough variety and pleny of food. We needed to be close the Hauptbaunhof and it was a quick walk and there was an elevator. Lots of reviews complained about the noise but we slept with the windows open and it wasnt bad at all. Our room was small (3 beds) but we only slept and showered there so it was perfect for us. Would reccommend."

"This is an urban, kind of seedy area of town. But the hotel is nice inside. Shower is open to the room with glass doors, which was fine for my husband and I but would be weird with friends. Room is very bare bones, and there was no top sheet on the bed? But two duvets? Breakfast is 16 euro, we did not partake. We used the parking garage around the block, and the front desk validated our ticket for us. That also cost $16. Air conditioning not an option in May."

"Overall the hotel has a very nice ascetic. Charming and the staff was pleasant. Location, close to train station and Old Town. But with the trams running all night, and the noise from the people on the street, it was difficult getting a peaceful night rest. I stayed in a single room, the TV was not working and didn't for the entire stay, and the staff didn't seem to care or try to fix the issue. The room was quite warm, no A/C but I expect that with most hotels in Europe."

"Despite advertising soundproofed rooms, property is noisy inside and out. On the plus side, clean and comfortable, with cool decor and nice breakfast."

"I booked this hotel because it was cheaper, and even then it was too expensive for the quality of the hotel. The staff is kind and the location is excellent, but other than that...the place is very old and in desperate need of renovations. My shower sprayed water all over the bathroom every time I used it, there was mold, the bed and pillows seem decades old and so uncomfortable, etc. Nothing was anyone's "fault"...it's just really old. I personally don't think it's worth the money, but it's up to you to decide what is a good value/deal for you."

"The staff were wonderful and made us feel right at home instantly. The location was great for proximity to the central station but a bit of a walk to the sights we wanted to see. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Munich!"
