"The building and location is exceptional. However, we have been to hundreds of 4 star hotels, and this one is by far the worst. Perhaps they expect you to be housed as monks, so bare minimum. They charged us 168 euros for a room that had furniture that would embarrass IKEA. It is bare minimum, but breakfast was included and quite decent. Overall, a bit of a rip-off."

They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit."
