"We stayed in the Zodiac Room, which has frescos on the ceiling and beautiful antique furniture. The room is right off a shared common area which is also palatial and furnished with antiques. If you want to experience lifving in an autherntic Italian palazzo, this is the place! The owners are very freindly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent."

"This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant. "

"Very good eating. Beautiful location. Lovely pool. Good furniture and eating conditions on terrace among the olives and wonderful views. Excellent service from very restricted staff - chef Marco and factotum Monia. Nice comfort room. Easy access to Sarteano and Citta della Pieve as well as autostrada."

"Lovely greeting. Husband and wife run hotel. Beautifully clean. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in so far. Beautiful location. Amply parking. Breakfast has good options but nothing hot apart from toast. Still very tasty. We drove down to the local town. Plenty of restaurants etc. Pool and terrace over looking beautiful views. We recommend. "

"Poggio Piglia exceeded all expectations — the room was beautifully appointed, the pool serene and surrounded by stunning views, and the entire atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The staff were wonderful throughout, with a special shout-out to Sergio, who made our experience even more memorable. A truly special place — we’ll definitely be back."

"Myself, husband and two grown up children, thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here. The grounds and hotel are stunning and immaculately kept. The owner and two staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great breakfast and a fantastic cappuccino. Recommend having an evening meal at the hotel too. The pool area is beautiful and looking over a gorgeous tuscan landscape. Would highly recommend to anyone. "

"Restaurant was amazing! We dined on the panoramic terrace and the wine and meal was delicious! The hotel room was a generous size and had high quality linens. A generous breakfast was served in the inn’s dining room. We stayed here on a drive from southern to northern Italy and were very glad to have booked the place! "

"Very good location. Very clean. Nearby free parking. Breakfast was just okay. Too much unnecessary clutter and perfumery airfreshner smell in room in my opioion. Seemed totally unnecessary as rooms were spotlessly clean. Luggage rack in room would be helpful. Would definitely recommend. "

"Ottimo posto, pulito, organizzato, merita più amore da parte degli avventori in quanto troveranno anche dei titolari simpatici e disponibili, colazione semplice ed efficace, venite per più di una sera e sostenete il posto, è a 10 minuti dalla maggior parte delle mete turistiche della zona di cui Montepulciano, c'è una ottima gelateria in zona e delle terme per iniziare a sentirsi meglio fisicamente e mentalmente. "We didn’t have a car and were told very honestly that Montepulciano was nearly impossible to navigate w/o one, which we appreciated. The local restaurants were incredible and this spot was perfect for our short stay traveling through Italy. "
