Nice area but...

The apartment we stayed in was different from the one shown on the website. The company manages several of them apparently and we were unlucky to get one that was not renovated. The bathroom was not properly functional and the place was just not clean enough.

Great Retreat

Quiet, Beautiful setting.Great view and garden to relax. Not much close by and only Italian spoken in the most part. Quaint villages and mountain roads. The building was beautiful, old stone very rustic and simple. If that's what you are looking for this is the perfect spot. It is only a 25 min drive to Imperia to 24hr grocery(Carrefour) and waterfront restaurants. This is not easy to access for elderly people it could be un accessible as there was steep rocky path. No daily room servicing or support found in a hotel. Parking off road but not great. The room was adequate just the basics but functional. Personally I would not book for a winter visit we were had no heating and building would be hard to keep warm. I would imaging in the summer it would be really pleasant but don't look for AC. Our visit was mid May and it was chilly in the mountains overnight. If this appeals to you provision-up and take a few good books and relax.

Fantastische kleine Ferienwohnung

Die kleine Ferienwohnung liegt ungefähr zwanzig Minuten mit dem Auto von Imperia entfernt. Das Dorf ist sehr, sehr ruhig und die Wohnung wirklich perfekt. Es gibt eine kleine Küche und das Bad im Erdgeschoss, eine kleine steile Treppe führt ins offene Schlafzimmer und nochmal über eine Treppe gehts auf die Dachterasse mit einem tollen Ausblick über die umliegenden Dörfer. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und wir haben selten so gut geschlafen und uns so gut erholt. Einziger Kritikpunkt, der Boden war nicht wirklich sauber, aber das war nicht weiter schlimm. Hausschuhe und das Problem ist gelöst.

Det bedste "hotel" ever....

Dette sted er intet mindre end fantastisk. Faktisk overvejer jeg ikke at skrive noget, for selv at have en større chance for at kunne komme til at leje det en anden gang. Ja jeg skrev leje, for det minder mere om en lejlighed man lejer end et hotelværelse. Udlejer fandt os lidt heldigt på gaden, da vi flere timer før normal indtjekning starter var kørt der op ad små snoede bjergveje, for lige at se om vi kunne finde det. Vejen kunne vores GPS ikke kende, så satte kursen mod bycentrum, ind til vejene blev til fortorve og bilen måtte parkeres. Spændende... :-) Selv om der på hotels står nummer 7 som gade nummer, er det altså nummer 9 i virkeligheden. Telefon nummeret står på døren, men man kan ikke rigtigt tale med ejeren med mindre man kan Italiensk eller Fransk. Det lykkedes os med nød og næppe at få ham til at forstå at det altså var os der havde lejet lejligheden, alt foregik dog super venligt og alle forsøgte med fagter og papir og blyant at få kommunikationen til at gå op og det lykkedes jo også til sidst. Bare lidt besværligt, når engelsk eller tysk slet ikke virker og vi ikke selv taler hverken italiensk eller fransk... Alt i alt et perfekt sted i de smukkeste omgivelser man næsten kan forestille sig... ***** 5 stjerner her fra!

Biodynamisk Olivenplantage

Stedet har mere karakter af ferielejlighed. Vi blev indkvarteret i en lejlighed i en Italiensk Villa, belliggende midt i en stor olivenplantage, med en stor have fyldt med frugttræer og krydderurter. Dette sted er stilfærdigt og ligger en kilometer fra nærmeste lille by, højt oppe af et bjerg. Man når dertil af 6-7 km smalle og snoede bjergveje, og kan så gå og hygge sig her, eller tage den halvtimes køretur til midelhavet og bade. Man skal selv lave mad og vaske op, men der er sengetøj og alt andet man skal bruge. Betjeningen er zderst venlig, men Engelsk kan ikke bruges. Italiensk eller Fransk er de sprog der tales.
