Lovely one night stay at this little gem of a place. Room was clean and fresh with character and the bonus of a sweet little private terrace area overlooking pretty courtyard. Breakfast was good with fresh croissants, coffee etc. Chinon gorgeous old town. Heartily recommend this hotel and its surroundings.

Adresse exceptionnelle, accueil très agréable. Le patio attenant à la chambre est des plus sympathique, joliment orné et aménager de mobilier de jardin. Le petit déjeuner est complet et en quantité. Cet établissement restera dans mon carnet d'adresse lors de notre prochain voyage dans la région.

This hotel is extremely well located for a Visit to Chinon. It was clean, the owners were hospitable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. Not a super posh hotel, but perfect for an easy visit to a beautiful city.

Way too loud

This hotel is one of those where you can hear someone walking next door as if they’re inside your room. Our neighbors were pretty quiet, but we spent more money to have the pretty river view room which turned out to be awful because it’s also in front of a very busy road. We were woken up all night from motorcycles and cars zipping past. The people barely spoke English and still charged us for our remaining two nights even though we told them we couldn’t possibly sleep there another night with the noise. Theoretically there is free street parking but you have to move your car twice a day. I’m surprised by all of the high reviews. It looks cute, but just not very practical. Maybe the rooms facing the back of the building are better.
