Brilliant! This is a truly modern and incredibly well conceived hotel, especially for business travelers. The rooms are tiny, but so well considered and designed it is hard to describe. You can control everything, especially the ingenious lighting, with an iPad or wall switches. The great beds are large and square, so you can sleep in any orientation. The bath fixtures are high end, and the rest of the hotel is outfitted with furniture and accessories from Vitra! If you value a good breakfast, the $20 buffet is better and less expensive than anything you're going to find within walking distance, and the room pricing is very competitive. I'll stay here every time I'm in Chicago now.

The location was is great, in the loop and close to the river. The room was clean. Beyond that, the hotel is for the young and by the young. I am not young and the hotel is not for me. I traveled with my wife. The room was small and decor weird modern. Fine, don’t really care that much. However, the king bed touches the wall on 3 sides which means that one person literally has to climb over the other if they have to get up in the night And the bathroom is borderline see through. If someone else is using the shower or toilet, there is no mystery. Who wants to see that?? Storage for clothing is also an issue. The drawer is under the bed so you have to get on your knees or be REALLY flexible I’m really not trying to trash the hotel. If I were by myself, most of the most irritating things wouldn’t matter. The common areas are pretty nice and I actually like most of the decor even it’s a little goofy. I did enjoy my stay, but the hotel isn’t for everyone.

This hotel is nice, clean and quiet. It’s close to almost everything. My husband is very picky and he enjoys the staying which speaks volumes!! We will definitely stay here again.
