Chankam is such an excellent place to stay. It is a beautiful property with great and helpful staff and located in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and temples. The huge Sunday Bazaar is within walking distance. We would stay here again.

What a great location, very relaxing. Quiet, but very many restaurants in the “old town” within 5-10 minute walking distance including the must see Sunday Night Market. Very helpful staff and everything was very clean. Would highly recommend. We loved it!

This is the best place I've ever stayed. The owner could not have been more helpful. She is wonderful!! The place is beautiful, and impeccably clean. We stayed 4 nights, and I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff did everthing to make our stay comfortable and convenient...welcome drink and cool cloth, getting us settled, recommendations, driving us to the American consulate, water and snacks and all without extra cost. I totally recommend Chankam Boutique Hotel.

This is a magical oasis, away from noisy streets, and the staff are incredible. The charming hotel is very clean, and a full delicious breakfast was provided every morning. Kno was very helpful with directions, reservations etc. I really enjoyed my stay.

Stayed at this property for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was lovely and quiet but also in a very convenient location. The room was comfortable, especially the bed and the shower. The staff were very lovely and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay to Chankam Boutique Hotel was perfect. The owner and its staff are doing their best to make my stay confortable. The Hotel is nicely situated in the old town and is very quiet as it is situated in a small street. Within 5 minutes walk, you can reach many temples, a lot of restaurant and the Sunday night barzaar. One of my best pick I had. Would definitely come back.

My husband and the other couple we traveled with loved this property. We will stay here again. It was in a very quiet area, but very accessible to shopping and restaurants. The property is quaint and quiet; very clean. The room was so clean! The bed was extremely comfortable and I looked forward every night to sleeping well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Available, but not intrusive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Old City Chiang Mai. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The room was very nice and clean, with self service coffee/tea, minibar, and small balcony. Very easy walk to a variety of eateries, temples, the walking street market and other sights. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

Comfortable stay in a nice hotel

Very spacious room and a large bathroom with an excellent shower. The bed was also super comfortable! The hotel is situated in the old town but in an alleyway where it’s nice and quiet. As in most places in Thailand the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Made you feel very welcomed.

Charming boutique hotel

I had a lovely time. The Lobby is charming and stylish. Staff is welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the jet tub and rainfall shower head. I also used their free city bicycles to travel all over the old city. Location was perfect as well. I highly recommend.

We stayed at Chankam as part of our 3 day Chiang Mai tour. The location was central and the staff was beyond amazing. Since it was our honeymoon, they decorated our room with flower petals, which was a wonderful surprise. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature were perfect. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends and we would come back!

The staff was excellent and very accommodating. They took very good care of me. I had a really late check in and the reception was just as inviting as any other time. Even went as far as offering tea and a moist towel to freshen up. The rooms were very nice and had a “feels like home” atmosphere. The concierge helped with events and motor rental and make everything so easy. I took a tuk tuk and the driver didn’t have chance and the hotel covered my fair and later added it to my bill! How wonderful is that? Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A peaceful hotel with respectful guests

The hotel is quiet, comfortable with kind staff and guests. I did not smell cigarette or cannabis smoke once in the hotel which was a nice reprieve from most accommodations in Thailand today. Some people have just lost all respect for one another in this regard. I did smell cannabis in the stairwell (presumably from a neighbouring parking lot) but never in my room. I’m grateful for this and hope it shows the type of guest demographic that suits these accommodations. The rooms had modern technology like a doorbell and indicator lights for do not disturb or cleaning requests. The cleaning staff were such kind hearts and were basically on call during my stay, I loved this and was very unique out of thousands of hotels I’ve stayed. It’s a tropical climate so there were ants and mosquitoes and it will take some fine tuning by the facilities staff. I highly recommend using Tero liquid ant traps to deal with the ants and address all air leaks in the HVAC system to deal with the mosquitoes. Better sealing will also improve cooling efficiency. For the internet connection they need to switch to a single wifi next work for all guests to use. Their login system does not work well and a single network with extenders to cover the hotel will serve them much better. The existing wifi setup could easily be configured for this. Overall I loved the tranquility of the hotel, there was some construction noise but it didn’t bother me every day.

Beautiful hotel. It feels very special from the moment you walk into the lobby. Our room was very well decorated, and all the bed linen + towels felt very high quality. AC was very effective too but I wish I could change its direction since it was blowing straight into my face and has given me a cold. Besides that, no complaints with the hotel, they were able to accommodate an abnormally early check-in, and I would love to come and stay there again.
