"This hotel was beautiful! We were pleasantly surprised how charming it was. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was also lovely. The garden/patio/pool area is gorgeous. Also super close walk to Chateau Chenonceaux which was super practical. Room was clean and nice, and parking was easy. It was located in a small but very cute little town."

"Villa Mary was a lovely place to stay, It was well approximated to the Loire river, chateaux and many restaurants, all within walking distance.Mary was so welcoming and a delight to interact with when we ran into her. We easily found parking right in front of her place."

"The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."

"Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day."

"This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. "We had a wonderful 4 night stay as a group of 4 attending for a wedding nearby. The chateau is beautiful with amazing views. The pool was lovely. The staff could not have been more helpful and were wonderful. We were able to get around easily with uber."

"The hotel’s location is excellent, just steps from the center of town, and the price was very reasonable. The family room worked especially well for our group of four friends, offering plenty of space and the convenience of two full bathrooms. The main drawbacks are that the property feels quite dated and could benefit from renovations. The carpet was worn and had an unpleasant odor, and our biggest issue was a strong musty smell throughout the property. Room 24 also had a noticeable sewage...
