Parking was a little tricky but maybe because of the weather when we checked in (snow and cold!). The hotel is lovely (our room was fairly small) but great location and nice staff!

Stayed one night in a cramped top-floor (read: attic) room where exposed beams further reduced the limited space. The interiors were dated and musty, the bathroom window mechanism was broken, and there was no heating in the bathroom. The bed cover had visible whitish stains that immediately brought to mind the most unsavory associations. Unfortunately, the tendency of other reviewers to be ‘nice’ makes their feedback unreliable and does not help travelers make an informed choice. Overall, this was far from the advertised ‘Wonderful’ 9-rating and fell well short of what one should expect for $200 per night with tax. While the bed itself was adequate and the shower had good pressure, this is very basic accommodation.

Great location, parking off site within a short walking distance. Nice breakfast. Room was perfect for business travel, but tight for a couple, lacking good storage, especially shelving. Cathedrals has an awesome light show in the evening.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful town

Grand hotel the decor inside is art deco. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was great, best coffee of our trip so far. The wetroom doesn't really work. There was water everywhere after shower. But that was the only negative.

This is a wonderful hotel. We were greeted warmly at check in, offered a cool soft drink, and made to feel welcomed. This experience continued throughout our stay, with the staff making a point of greeting us and responding to questions. The breakfasts were memorable and delicious, and the cozy bar and lounge were great places to relax during the afternoon. Our room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in. Chartes Cathedral is within walking distance, as are shopping and dining areas. We spent four nights there and the hospitality of the staff stands out. This is what you hope for in a French hotel in a smaller city. Highly recommended, we would stay there again. DavidG

Hotel was clean and well located , breakfast was good. Staffs are welcoming except the management was untrained for customer service . Room was not sound prove , can here all night people walking upstairs. I asked for a room exchange , the manager just responded “ this is not possible .🙅 “ one sentence customer service . Once I notice she was the manager of the hotel , then I was hopeless . Overall great location, ok breakfast .

Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof, damit verbunden Busverkehr. Zur Zeit des Aufenthaltes war in Seitenstraße eine Baustelle, verbunden mit Schwerlastverkehr schon am Morgen. Am Hotel keine Parkplätze, deshalb parken in Q-Park, was sehr teuer ist.

I chose this hotel because it offered parking. It was disappointing to find out that there wasn’t any available on arrival. Apparently this needs to be reserved, but this isn’t clear on their Expedia page. Instead the hotel recommended a car park which was double the price of their advertised cost. If you are looking for a hotel with parking, I wouldn’t choose this one!
