Simple, clean, and convenient

It was a convenient hotel for leaving the airport of Charleroi early in the morning on the following day. The hotel staff was very helpful. Wake-up and arrangement for taxi worked perfectly.

One night stop

Get in, get out. Was in the process of refurbishment when I stayed. Read the reviews and appreciate it is very limited and poor. Breakfast was ok

Dreadful hotel

The only good thing about this hotel was the pleasant young man in reception. As a result of a mix up (for which I do not blame this establishment) I was informed that the only room available was the one with an accessible bathroom. On viewing that, I noticed that the seat on which the disabled person was supposed to sit was damp and rotting. The whole hotel was filthy. I declined to stay and went to another, much better nearby hotel.

The only one with breakfast included

The only hotel with a price under 50€ that included breakfast! Rooms not spacious, yet beds are comfortable. Perfect for one night stays.

Insonorisation inexistante, confort très sommaire

Le séjour a été assez négatif. La chambre a un confort très sommaire, la télévision est trop petite et placée trop haute, le pommeau de douche ne tenait pas et l'insonorisation est inexistante (on entend les voisins de chambre discuter !) De plus nous avons été réveillé par 2 fois : vers minuit par des personnes frappant dans des volets, et vers 1heure du matin par une cliente faisant scandale dans le hall parce qu'elle n'avait pas l'eau chaude dans sa chambre (la police a du intervenir pour calmer la situation) Très mauvais souvenir

En ce qui concerne l'hôtel en lui-même rien à dire point de vue rapport qualité/prix Par contre l'homme qui nous a reçu à l'hôtel a été particulièrement grossier allant jusqu'à dire à ma femme 4 fois : fermez-là et vous êtes chiante. Ces propos étant totalement injustifiés, ma femme ayant juste demandé la clef de notre chambre au bout de cinq minutes d'attente parce qu'il parlait à d'autres personnes.

Adequate

This hotel was exactly what we paid for: clean, quiet, nothing special. Good enough for a short stay. Parking was convenient and free. We were able to get to the nearby Aldi supermarket for some snacks. The chip wagon behind the hotel closed at 5.30 p.m. There were a number of what we assumed to be outlet stores close by, but we were only passing through and took no interest in them. The Samaritaine Metro station was a ten minute walk away---very convenient for access to the city centre. Access to the main road to Brussels was also very convenient.

I arrived at 8pm after a long day's driving across Germany into Belgium and couldn't see any nearby eating places, so was glad when I found out that reception offered a meal deal of a pizza, soft drink and tiramisu for 10 Euros which was brought to my room after about 20 mins. The room was quite basic and the shower and toilet ensuite was a bit smelling of damp and mould but apart from that the room was good value

Verouderd hotel vlakbij de ring van Charleroi

Bij aankomst bleek onze kamer aan de kant van de drukke weg te liggen. We kregen zonder problemen op verzoek een andere kamer aan de stille kant van het hotel. De kamer leek op het eerste gezicht redelijk schoon, maar bij nadere inspectie toch niet helemaal. De badkamer en het toilet waren niet schoon en onder het bed lag flink wat stof. Aangezien we 7 nachten zouden blijven hebben we zelf eerst nog het een en ander schoongemaakt. Het beddengoed en de handdoeken waren wel schoon. Het matras op het bed was doorgezakt. In zijn algemeenheid was het hele hotel sterk verouderd, een flinke opknapbeurt en schoonmaakbeurt zouden geen kwaad kunnen. Het ontbijt was prima, simpel maar goed, en zeer zeker voldoende. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en prettig. Van de schoonmaakdames kregen we elke dag schone handdoeken en badmatten. We vonden het te doen en we zaten er nu al eenmaal. Gedurende de week kreeg ik erg jeukende bulten, waarvan ik eerst dacht dat het door een mug kwam, hoewel we die eigenlijk niet gezien hadden. Bij thuiskomst, na een bezoek aan de dokter, bleken de bulten en de jeuk veroorzaakt te zijn door bedwantsen. Eens te meer reden om dit hotel nooit meer te boeken en ook niet aan te bevelen aan anderen!
