Lovely stay

Lovely hotel in a perfect location on the edge of the town. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop and the centre 10 minutes walk. Very friendly staff.

Great stay in Chamonix

My wife and I had a great time in Chamonix and enjoyed our stay at Auberge du Manoir. We enjoyed a nice view of the valley and had a little terrace to sit at in the evenings. The staff were kind and welcoming and had great recommendations on where to eat and how to spend our time.

Due to the train schedule, I happened to arrive in Chamonix 3 hours before check-in time. I would have been happy with leaving my luggage, but they offered a room available when asking them. I really appreciated that.

Our second visit to this hotel in Chamonix. Such a lovely place with that ski lodge feel. Staff are exceptional and the room we had was wonderful. Good breakfast and nice bar area. Easy 5 minute walk to town.

Warm and welcoming!

A fantastic auberge in a great location. The service was excellent, especially the girl on reception who was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was ideal and had a lovely balcony with views of the mountains. The perfect place to stay when visiting Chamonix.

Nice to have a room for our family of four with a queen bed and bunk bed, very convenient and quiet despite being an easy walk to touristy areas. Front desk attendant was always very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Second time staying here, first time was in 2018 and it still as charming as we remembered it. The staff has changed, but Gael at reception and Coco at the breakfast buffet were ever so pleasant and helpful. Easily walkable to anywhere in town, for shopping, dining, or just sightseeing. Highly recommended if you want to experience authentic French chalet-style accommodations at a reasonable price.

Enjoyable stay

Really enjoyable stay - clean throughout and very lovely team on reception. We didn't eat at the hotel at all - went out for breakfast. We did use the hot tub and watched the sun go down around the alps! Two things for the hotel to look at - hair dryer isn't very powerful, and they need a spare key for the ski boot locker room (thye couldn't find it twice!).

The Auberge is in easy walking distance from the town centre. My room had a view towards Mont Blanc. The glacier was clearly visible. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Chamonix is an attractive Alpine town with many amenities. I stayed in September and visited La Mer de Glace and l' Aiguille du Midi. Both were sensational experiences.

This is an old fashion ski lodge at the edge of city center. It's not bad but not great. The facilities are dated. Our room advertised as mountain view looks out to the wall of another building. Breakfast was parsimonious. Good news is that there is parking if you pay.
