The manager was very kind and welcoming. We did not let the property know about our after hours check in (we had not seen the check in hours) and arrived very late. The door was closed, , so we called the phone number on the door. the manager answered immediately and despite the late hour was very welcoming and gave us instructions. Short but very nice stay. Location is very convenient to split the journey from south of France to Paris.

The cutest little hotel, within easy walking distance of the train station. Peaceful little oasis. The one hitch was that there was no one at reception when we checked in or out. The building was locked when we arrived, and we had to call the contact number to get a code to get in. Not a huge deal, as the contact was very responsive and helpful, but we didn't have an international phone plan, so it'll cost us a little.

Une halte bienvenue

Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis à la maison Boucicaut, où notre hôte nous a donné des conseils de dîner pour notre court séjour. L'hôtel est en retrait de la rue, dans un petit cocon de calme bien agréable, et la construction HQE du bâtiment permet de garder une température correcte à l'intérieur. Bravo pour la démarche éco-responsable du petit déjeuner qui permet d'éviter le gâchis ; et le prendre dans la cour/jardin fut très agréable. Seul petit bémol, les pains et viennoiseries semblent provenir d'un prestataire pour collectivités, donc qualité moyenne. Pour le reste, ce fut parfait !

Très bon hôtel

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au calme dans un studio très cosy et bien équipé. L' hôtel propose un agréable salon de détente. Accueil chaleureux et prévenant. Et nos amis à 4 pattes sont les bienvenus. Je recommande cet établissement tres bien situé à Chalon.

Wir waren als Familie auf der Durchreise nur eine Nacht dort und hatten 2 nebeneinander liegende Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. Es war alles sehr freundlich, das Essen gut, die Besitzerin sehr nett.Einziges Manko, wir waren im EG und da in unserem Zimmer kein Rolladen war, konnten wir nachts die Terrassentür nicht zum Lüften offenlassen. Da sie nicht kippbar war, wurde es leider etwas stickig im Zimmer, aber mit Ventilator war es auszuhalten.Wir würden wiederkommen!
